Parallel publishing
In the publishing business, the term ’parallel publishing’ is used to describe the production of the same content or information in more than one medium (typically paper and screen).
The Open Source Publishing team will work with a group of students from the Ecole des beaux-arts, école d’architecture, ENSEIRB and Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication to test out how to work collaboratively on a document that is produced simultaneously with a conference, and how its content might change during the transformation from live event to publication.
This workshop is organised during the conference Edit ! norms, formats, supports.
Parallel publishing
In de uitgeverswereld wordt de term ’parallel publishing’ gebruikt om het proces te beschrijven van de publicatie van dezelfde inhoud in meer dan één medium (meestal tegelijkertijd op papier en op een scherm).
Het Open Source Publishing team zal met studenten van de Ecole des beaux-arts, école d’architecture, ENSEIRB en Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication samenwerken om uit te testen hoe je een document kan produceren dat tegelijk ontstaat met een conferentie, en hoe de inhoud van de conferentie verandert in de transformatie van live-evenement naar een publicatie.
