GenderArtNet@Expeditions to the void

The project Expeditions to the Void, Science, Territory and subjective narratives, investigates the potential of subjective narratives created by a series of women artists who analyse, narrate and question the models of science and territory. The first phase of the project consisted in a workshop lead by members of the GenderArtNet’s team where the themes of the projects were discussed and mapped. The title of the project emerged as the result of the workshopÅ› discussions.
The second phase consists in an exhibition taking place in Can Felipa where works by Teresa Solar, Paloma Polo, Katie Paterson, Regina de Miguel and Claire L. Evans will be shown. The documentation of the GenderArtNet’s workshop will also be present in the exhibition space.

Le projet Expeditions to the Void, Science, Territory and subjective narratives, se construit sur le potentiel des narrations subjectives créées par une série de femmes artistes qui analysent, narrent et questionnent les modèles de la science et du territoire. La première phase du projet a consisté en un atelier animé par des membres de GenderArtNet dans lequel les thèmes du projet furent débattus et mis en carte. Le titre du projet fut un des résultats des discussions de l’atelier.
La seconde phase du projet consiste en une exposition qui se tiendra à Can Felipa dans laquelle seront exposés les travaux de Teresa Solar, Paloma Polo, Katie Paterson, Regina de Miguel et Claire L. Evans. La documentation de l’atelier GenderArtNet sera aussi présentée dans l’espace d’exposition.
