A strike is announced at the airport. People are already in the airport hall…. There are loads of us; really filling up the airport hall. Some are waiting for their suitcases.

People wait, become impatient. Another group is waiting before the departure board. The check in desks are not showing yet. They wait, become impatient.

At some point the luggage belt stops turning, and people start to leave. Three suitcases are left.

Out of one of the suitcases five characters appear.
The moon, a plane, two people and patience.
They have no problem going on strike.

Bio
Suzanne Cleerdin is an artist active in Brussels making performative and audiovisual works. She is also a DJ under the alter ego Mandy Pixel. Her sets and work revolve around the familiar while they are at the same time constantly trying to disrupt this, and are like being around many strangers: awkward and stimulating. Her work blurs and redefines the boundaries between film, sound, and performance, maintaining a militant yet optimistic approach.
