We invite you to a collective research session exploring the technologies, signals, and devices that surround us. Together, we will experiment with tactics to create counter spells and amulets that could protect or disrupt (local)surveillance technologies.

This is an open space for trying things out: testing tools, making things, following intuitions, sharing techniques, and seeing what happens. Bring your spells, herbs, microcontrollers, domestic hacking techniques, witching recipes, or whatever else you would like to experiment with.

The session will open with a welcoming performance intended to cleanse our energies, followed by a treasure hunt prepared by Barbe. In the afternoon, we will be introduced to a form of ventriloquism fieldwork, using it as a way to enter more deeply into the mapped situation surrounding Midi and its connections to Frontex.

Throughout the sessions, we will document, transform, and reinterpret what emerges. Tarot, drawings, objects, notes, recordings, and other forms of documentation are all welcome.

This technopaganism workshop is not about finding definitive answers. It is a space to test, play, fail, improvise, and discover together what forms of protection, disruption, invisibility, and communication might be possible.

• The main language will be English, but there will be whispers in many languages present.
