Hoe gaan we met elkaar om – hoe ervaar je fysieke proximiteit? Constant lid Wendy Van Wynsberghe zal een speelse oefening op poten zetten in de Constant werkruimte. Het is een momentopname in haar onderzoek over physical computing (interactie tussen mens en computer), wearables (draagbare technologie) en geluid.

Op 2 oktober lanceren we Constant Verlag, een groeiende online collectie die op dit moment al meer dan 60 teksten over digitale kunst en cultuur bevat. Sommige daarvan waren al te vinden op onze site, anderen alleen op onze persoonlijke harddrives. Constant Verlag biedt je de gelegenheid al bladerend of zoekend verborgen schatten te vinden uit de diepte van Constants archieven. Lees teksten in het Frans, Engels, Spaans of Nederlands; recent of meer dan tien jaar oud, en geschreven door verschillende auteurs. Omdat de meeste teksten zijn gepubliceerd onder een open licentie, ben jevan harte welkom om het materiaal te gebruiken, kopiëren, modifieren en redistribueren.

Toen de Kunstenwerkplaatsen, Zennestraat 17 Rue de la Senne en BRXLBRAVO samen aan het Artslab² project begonnen te werken bleek al snel de veelheid en gevarieerdheid van kunstenaars die in het Brusselse werkzaam zijn. De sociale en artuistieke netwerken, de meertaligheid en geografische spreiding vroeg erom onderwerp van een project te worden.

Middels een cartigrafische interventie willen de betrokken organisaties een tipje van deze complexiteit oplichten. Ter gelegenheid van het aanstaande BRXLBRAVO worden twee kaartschildersessies georganiseerd, waarna de vloer bij de entree van de Zennestraat nooit meer dezelfde zal zijn !

Iedereen die inspiratie voelt bovenborrelen is van harte welkom mee te doen ! Kom langs, schilder mee en connecteer !

On October 2, Constant launches Constant Verlag, a growing on-line
repository, currently containing more than 60 texts on digital art and
infrastructure. Some of those texts were already available on our
website, others only existed on our personal harddrives. Now, Constant
Verlag allows you to easily browse, search and print hidden treasures
from the depth of Constants Archives. Enjoy texts in French, English,
Spanish or Dutch; recent or as early as 1997 and written by various
authors. As most texts have been released under open content license,
you are invited to use, copy, modify and redistribute the material.

Certains de ces textes étaient déjà disponibles sur notre site Web, d'autres ont seulement existé sur notre annonce personnelle harddrives. Désormais, Constant Verlag vous permet de facilement naviguer, rechercher et imprimer les trésors cachés des archives de Constant. Les textes sont écrits en français, anglais, espagnol ou hollandais; ils datent au plus tard de 1997 et ont été écrits par différents auteurs. Comme la plupart des textes sont sous licence libre, vous êtes invités à utiliser, copier, modifier et redistribuer cette matière.

Les laboratoires artistiques(kunstenwerkplaatsen), les organisations du 17 rue de la Senne et BRXLBRAVO se rejoignent autour du projet l'Artslab: de nombreux artistes de Bruxelles travaillent sur les thématiques de la complexité du réseau, le paysage multilingue et géographiquement dispersé.
Ils souhaitent réaliser une cartographie artistique permettant de visualiser les liens existant entre les artistes, les organisations et la ville, ainsi ils organisent deux performances publiques avec de la peinture sur le sol dans l'entrée de Zennestraat 17 Rue de Senne.

When the arts labs (kunstenwerkplaatsen), Zennestraat 17 Rue de la Senne and BRXLBRAVO started cooperating on the Artslab² project, the multitude of artists in Brussels became a pivotal point, as well as the complexity of network(s), its multilingual and geographically dispersed landscape and numerous cooperations.

With this map we want to show a fragment of this complexity in a playful way, therefore we organize two public mapping performances with
paint, on the floor, in the entrance of Zennestraat 17 Rue de la Senne.
