Ellentriek-Recup

Your copier, scanner or mobile phone is broken and your local thrift store has kindly referred you to the dump? Don’t worry, inside these machines you can find all kinds of treasure, such as little motors, a lens, microphones or a little amplifier! In this workshop you will learn how to dismantle broken electronics and harvest the still usable parts for creative reuse. PLease bring some nice broken machines, along with your favourite screwdriver and other tools. The older the electronic devices, the better!

Every session is dedicated to a particular set of machines:

Wed 21.11: radio, cassette-, dvd-, cd-player, answering machine
Sat 24.11: scanner, printer, copier
Wed 28.11: digital/analog videocamera’s, photocamera’s, mobile phones and telephones
